Sk82Liv was born out of my battle with mental health.
In 2003, I hit one of the lowest points of my life. While searching for answers, I was asked a simple question:
When were you truly happy?
The answer was immediate — skateboarding.
I returned to it as more than a hobby. It became my lifeline. At 35, I decided to chase my lifelong dream of becoming a professional skateboarder. Years later, I earned sponsors, traveled internationally, and at 45 received my own pro model board.
But the real transformation wasn’t about going pro.
It was about healing.
Skateboarding rebuilt my confidence, resilience, and sense of purpose. I realized I didn’t just skate for fun — I SK8 2 LIV.
That’s why Sk82Liv exists:
To help others turn pain into purpose through skateboarding.
More than skateboarding — it’s healing in motion.
